Wasn't pushing the sex thing. Just try and claim equal rights on anything when guys are being masculine and manly.

Her husband is doing a lot of her thinking for her without sounding like he really thinking things through. She needds to make the choice herself.

John and I both ride Fat Bobs we both agreed they were the bikes that pleased us both. I know that I'm not making his life easier around his friends but he agrees to it and we both enjoy riding together a lot. The fact that we're going to Fat Boys is a mutual one and yet he still hasn't jumped all over me for being so meddlesome. I dunno, it works for us. It might not for others.

Hi
Your height and weight my 20 cents worth would be the Sportster 1200
its all motor with-out the extra weight you'd get from other bikes.
I'm not much bigger than you and the bike would be comfortable for you to ride and keep up with you hubby.

Julz :)

Limiting one's self to a brand when in the market will lead to a narrow minded decision.

Which Harley is right for you?

After having three Harleys, two Hondas and a Suzuki, I can honestly tell you that you need a bigger bike!
There are a few Harleys that I would suggest you try. Assuming that you arent interested in a bagger, I would go to the Softail family first.
The Softail Deluxe is a great bike. If you get a bike made after 2003, they will have the newer, bigger motor. If you get one after 2007 the go up to 98 cu. The Screamin Eagles have the 103 cu. motor.
If you want a more comfortable bike, try the Heritage Classic. Its a great bike for women.
If you are interested in more of a bagger, try the Street GLide. It was made with a lower seat height and alot of women have them.
I would suggest that you go to your local Harley Dealer and take test rides- they also have Ladies Garage nights once a month.

Which is perfectly alright, if you have a narrow cranium.

And if that narrow mindedness ends up in a triple then you've made the right decision.

The choice is really yours. The popular one here for on the streets in the city is the super glide. I love them all tho.
