Good crash protection would be an F150 Ford pick up with your bike tied down in the back. Other than that, maybe a St. Christopher medal and a rabbits foot. A few lit candles at the local parrish?

If you can get a good deal on a Jawa 350 twin, those offer great crash protection due to tank-like construction and Czech engineering. An MG42 mounted on the sidecar wards off evil very well also.
