We haven't heard from Herself lately, have we?

Shes still bitter that we're all horrible sexists who dare give advice to a pregnant women who askes us for advice....

Are there any sport touring bikes for petite (female) riders? I am 5' tall, with a 29" inseam, and I like the look of a sport bike, but not the seating position. I think I would be more comfortable on a sport touring bike (or a cruiser, obviously, but I would prefer a sport touring bike), but I haven't seen anything small enough for me! Any advice? Thanks! :)

My wife is a whole inch taller than you are and she rides the BMW F800ST - really nice "little" sport touring bike that can be lowered significantly.

Problem is, it's a BMW and will be *expensive* relative to other bikes.

As sportbikes go, the Ninjette has a fairly relaxed riding position.

Good advice, Pplassm. I've toured with a gal who rides a fully loaded Ninja 250. It can be done, on interstate or in the twisties.

I think using a Ninja 250 or 500 is a great idea for a sport tourer. Pretty easy to trick out and a comfy seating position. Here's a link from the EX500(Ninja 500R) board for touring accessories.

Agreed. I just bought my girlfriend a new Ninja 250. It really has nice seating position for her. She is 5' 7" and bout 110 lbs and Great deal, cheap tires, maintenance and insurance. Kawaski has rebates going on with all of their sportbikes... Also I paid cash for it which meant the dealer sold it significantly below the list. see More

I second the BMW F800ST, you can get it with the low seat. That is if this isnt your first bike.
