Have you seen the new Rocket III Touring?
Apparently the guys at Triumph didn't want to spend too much time on the bags, so they just used some old Harley bags. Looks good! No top box (or rear luggage rack) is offered, at least not yet. Accessory list has 60 items, mostly shiny. Re-tuned for torque. Now down to only 105HP, it produces 154ft/lbs of torque at roughly 2 grand. Accessory list doesn't include a towbar or winch. Yet. Skinny 180 series back tire for improved handling, and to keep the bags from sticking out past the rear view mirrors. I think they should bolt a RoadGlide front fairing on it. That'd be the ticket!

I like it better than the standard rocket. The pipes look better also. I really don't like the looks of the standard Rocket.
Why did they retune it? It already had a ton of torque. |

The working idea is "Grundles" of Torque. WAAAAY more than a puny Ton..........
