Here is the first "Official" photo of the new Tiger 800XC.
Courtesy of Motorcycle Daily: First Official Photo of Triumph Tiger 800 XC « MotorcycleDaily.com – Motorcycle News, Editorials, Product Reviews and Bike Reviews The 'Street' version looks mostly the same, without the burliness - as you would guess. No such "Official" photo of it yet. Go to Triumph Adventure for more titillation.

Do you s'pose those two "Rugged Adventurers" really are the ones that got them bikes dirty?
They look bored with the motos, and are probably just waiting for the photographer to tell 'em they're through so they can go back to the makeup-trailer and have sex with each-other....... Crack-a-lackin' Good, badass-lookin' bikes, though!

These mid-size bikes in general have a great appeal. It is good to see Triumph understanding the competition and going after them. With more than adequate performance and lower weight what's not to like? For a single rider and as long as you don't need to carry a lot of stuff these bikes fit the bill.

That'd be my guess, though I'm sure most current Tiger owners look just like them, thus appealing to the target demographic....... Beetchin' cool bikes though no doubt, I like the low mud-skimming front fender, just like my GS..the mark of a real off-roader ....(ahem) figures after I break the bank for a BMW Triumph starts cranking out bikes I want like the Sprint GT and now these...

It's too nice a bike to sell to those types, even though they could use the flaming rear hub as a campfire...

My only problem with these bikes is that I don't have the money to buy one. (But I'll take the street version, thank you.)

Oh, schnit! Anybody got a box of tissues?
I am soooo waiting to see these two new bikes... for me the most highly anticipated bike for the new year (unless Moto Guzzi finally decides to put that delicious naked into production this year).

It's a given that the 800 Triple will easily humiliate any of the less-than-liter ATs. The others will have to rely on "superior fit and finish", "superior German engineering" and other lines of PR.
