Default Rock It

Hell, I'll go ride their bike. Ripping around on somebody else's bike was the best part of working at HD...it damn sure wasn't the pay! I hear the burnouts on those Rockets are too fun (If you're not buying the tires)!

Let's see, the Duc dealer in the morning, then over to Triumph for lunch, maybe I can schedule a test ride on that Norge in Miami...Saturday is gonna be a busy day.

...just went back in time and read the 2005 MO shoot out between the Wocket, Woadstar & Woad King.

Gabe cut to the chase with his "tractor engine mounted with a seat and handlebars" anaolgy.

What a stone.

I test-rode a Rocket III when they first came out.

My impression was that it was like a larger, faster Valkyrie.

Unless you want to do wheelies or burnouts, you can short shift up to top gear and use that almost exclusively. I ran it down to 30 mph in top gear in traffic, and when traffic started moving again, it would take throttle without bucking.

Ed McMahon will be riding the Rocket III in this fantasy I would expect.

Where would he put the big oversized check though?

Would you be able to contain yourself and not come out the front door blazing away when you see Ed McMahon ripping sweet power donuts on your lawn?

Nice. I'm still laughing at that....

If it makes you feel any better, I think Seruzawa will give you a free Coke and a coupon for a $1 off you next game of bowling if you take the Magna off his hands.

I go into a local Yamaha dealer this afternoon, was looking at a couple of FZ1's. I notice on each of them (there were three), they've got a "static cling" sticker on the windscreen; it's made-up like a Pro number plate, has got a big "#1" on it, and the caption "AMA Superbike Champion".

WTF? I didn't know the FZ1 competed in AMA Superbike..........

If a stone then a fast one. Toadstar and Toad King have no chances with this baby.
