It's funny you mention this, because I've noticed a complete inability to do carb maintenance in people my age and younger. It's a dying art.

I've ripped apart more carbs than I can remember. I used to be able to pull the tank and change jets etc. on my '94 Magna in about 30 minutes.
I do agree though, most people don't even know how to change oil anymore.

It would be nice if you could spend that accessory money on a single headlight conversion. I know the "bug eyes" is what makes the S3 what it is, but I can't see buying a bike I think is ugly (even though I think the S3 is an awesome bike otherwise).

Uh, yeah - I've been meanin' to ask about that one: WTF is an "axle cover", and why does it need anodized?
