Forget the Bonneville. It doesn't have a "proper engine". As soon as Triumph turns the Bonneville into a water cooled I-4 or V-Twin just like every other bike you can consider owning one.

Otherwise your choice in bikes won't be approved by the "experts".

How about a Tiger 675 for one of the new models? Not everyone wants a bigger and bigger engine and this might make a great all-around bike. Any thoughts?

That makes logical sense. Put more dirt-oriented tires on it and you'd have something closer to a true dual-purpose bike. But you'd be fighting the "bigger and bigger engine" crowd.

Yeah, but even there cruiser line lacks some serious personality. They've neglected the cruiser line as much as the have their sportbike/standard line.

And from my perspective, they have the weakest line (personality/design) of cruisers out there. My opinion, not fact by any means.

I'm a believer. Not because I work at a Triumph shop, but because I've owned various models from '62-'71. Now, I don't have to own it to ride it- perks of being the Business Mgr. I've been on every model and can tell you that the most fun was actually the lowest hp, slowest bike in the bunch. The Scrambler is a blast for what it is. Doubt me? Test ride one. They are a blast. The next bike I'd buy- T100 w/ sidecar. I've got an 8 yr old that love to ride but she can't see around her big, round dad. Figured the sidecar deal would make her ride more enjoyable.
