Some of the Triumph dealers have demos. I just saw one at Munroe Motors in San Francisco. Try some of the dealers. Glad you're planning on including the 675 3 cylinder Daytona against the Japanese 600's (and maybe a Suzuki 750 for good measure?).

Performance Cycles in Shrewsbury Mass. claims to carry the 2006 675 (Per web page new bike section). I will call in the AM to verify and post results.

Ashley, a couple of weeks ago a dealer actually had two on ebay for MSRP (claimed buyers backed out...uh huh). They're gone now, but I'd check every now and then.

I've ridden several, and heard and/or rode with people with pretty much every single modern Triumph model.
And it's just not for me. I think the sound is pretty horrible. The engine has some nice characteristics but I want to ride one with more of a top end hit. I'm hoping the 675 has that same "can't be lugged" torque as the 1050 but yet has a top end hit like a japanese 600 for some extra excitement. That'd be an awesome motor. |

Yeah. Call Munroe Motors. They have a demo bike (at least one, if not two (they have two locations)). Say you will give them a metric boatload of free adds or something.
