"If we drafted everyone eligible ie.. rich kids maybe foliks wouldn't be in such a rush to get into war."

Fine. That's a rational position. I don't agree with it, but it's rational.

Just don't be a lying pu$sy and say that Republicans are going to bring back the draft.

"Nixon still drafted people. The draft ended latter [sic]."

Nice try. Nixon resigned in '74. The draft ended in '73. So the draft, like the Vietnam War, ended under a Republican administration. Unless you'd like to fault him for not somehow ending the draft during the Johnson administration...

Well, all you ever hear from the Democrats is tax the rich, give to the poor, have the govt provide free health care, yadda yadda yadda. How on earth can democrats claim they aren't socialists. They most certainly are.

Republicans are also, for the most part. Or didn't anyone notice the medicre drug entitlement. Sheesh.

Japanese motorcycle companies don't pass and enforce legislation straight out of Karl Marx.

Is "I'm just being contrarian" your excuse every time you are wrong?

I can see it now:

KPail's Boss: You're late again Kook!

KPail: No, I'm just being contrarian.

Default Re: Triumph & AHRMA Announce Thruxton Cup Series

Sounds like Triumph's way of promoting bike sales. I owned a Thruxton for a few hours... It developed an oil leak and the front brake caliper fell off on the way home from the dealer. So much for the prep job. The Thruxton is pretty to look at, but there are better choices for $8,000.
