AHRMA has a race at Willow Springs April 30/May1. We also have races scheduled for Golorado and Sandia ,New Mexico. Each race is actually 2 separate races......so this would give you6 points scoring chances. Only top 10 out of 18 count towards totals so make 2 cross country jaunts and you are in the chase!

And thats just the point of this race series.....everybody's got the same handicap.

Its a chance to get the vintage race experience without(I hope) the vintage maintenance experience. For those who want to race but dont want to go 120-150 and dont relish dealing with the vintage reliability deal, this is a good place to go.Of course the production singles glass is another good AHRMA class for this....0r take a stock 1972 Honda CB350 out in the Historic Production LWT class.

Once upon a time there was, but a go-through of Triumph's redone (again!) website brings up little more of a performance bent than some different "silencers." Ho-friggin'-hum.

God knows they could at least offer a Harley-esque kit for a second front disc, like the bike should have in the first place.

The next step past the first question: Anyone know if there's a Yoshimura/ErionFerraci/Muzzy analogue for latter-day Triumphs yet?

Interesting...

I don't understand how the top 10 out of 18 relates to cross-country jaunts, but it would take me more than two of those jaunts to get into the top 10 anyway

Now if I could just afford another new bike!...

What I meant is you could get 6 races on the West Coast. Two trips East would get you 4 more races.Only 10 races count toward total points so you would have a chance to win Championship.

"...will the Thruxton get its arse handed to it in the twisties by a Buell Blast?"

Only if a Thruxton competes in the Blast Cup Series.

I believe the point of this series is that everybody competes against each other on Thruxtons.

Hmmm. Not-so-subtle attempt to equate Democrats with socialists. Good try.

What's next, mentioning the name of a Japanese motorcycle company and then tossing in a mention of the Bataan Death March?

Yeah, that's like equating Republicans with fascists and Nazis. I'm glad we never hear that sort of thing.
