I have a Speed 4 and absolutely love it! The riding position is perfect for me and I don't run the engine above 10,000 (it redlines at 14,000) so don't miss the top end that you can get with other J.. that is, the Daytona. The price is right. Try it.

KPaul knows sportbikes are a money loser for any company. I'll take your question further. What if all the big four only made motorcycles? How much would their bikes cost, and how much would they pour into racing then? Ducati is in constant financial trouble, so I guess even numb nuts KPaul could figure it out. Notice how he didn't answer one question I asked, but of course, posted a link to absolutely nothing worthwhile? Triumph could have saved a bundle by buying Kawasaki's on the sneak and repainting them. Nobody would be the wiser. Four companies making the exact same motorcycle and what the world needed was a fifth, using quite a few Japanese parts, which seems to throw Harley haters into a tizzy. Real originality and engineering prowess that took, eh?

Apparently it answers the question of how to make a million dollars selling sportbikes.

Start with two million dollars.

How cool is this? I have had a weakness for Triumph's for years, and can't wait to see the new 600 Daytona run here in the states. I don't know if they will be winners that first season, but at least the field will be more interesting to watch. Way to go, Mr. Bloor, keep up the good work.
