![]() Hi
In May 2011 I purch. a Boulevard VLR1800 T. Appart from accelerating, decelerating or idling the bike is serging and it is impossible to ride it steady. First, 2 and 3 gear is more pronounced due to gearing. I have only done 450 km and I don't enjoy riding it anymore. It will not hold the revs steady and it feels like fuel starvation or ignition problems. The dealer workshop tells me it is a caracteristic of a big cube bike and I quote " The serge at low revs consistant with product." It happens at midrange too. Impossible to ride at almost any speeds below 80 kmh. I have ridden harleys and Intruder 1400, no such problem. If that problem can't be fixed I don't won't to keep the bike. Is this a problem with other Boulevards too? Anybody with an answere? Thanks Sundisig Last edited by Sundisig : 08-28-2011 at 03:38 AM. |

AND while you are fighting that out, check to see if your area has any kind of lemon laws for motorcycles. I think the shop is feeding you a line of crap, plain and simple. ![]() P.S. There probably are better forums for Suzuki products. This one might be a good place to start: Motorcycle News Forum
