just getting into riding and i found a 91 bandit 400 for $2100 with 60,000kms or around 40,000 miles. i havn't gone to look at it yet and it's 6 hours away so don't want to waste my time. is it worth it? it's a good looking little bike and should be good to learn on

i went to st.catherines to get my katana and it was well worth it.

Keep in mind the bike is almost 30 years old. The bike's drive train might be solid, but plan and budget for some repairs on all the other stuff like brakes, battery, etc. Don't buy it unless it's running well and has no obvious flaws...unless you want a project.

Just getting into riding as well. My gf's uncle knows this lady who's selling her first bike, it's a 99 suzuki marauder vz800 with 30 000 km's at 3000$. It's in mint condition. Just wondering if this is a good deal for the bike?

Three thousand American Dollars? Wow, it had better be really nice, and you had better really like it. That's "top dollar" for a Marauder with that many klicks on it.
