Default signal/pulse generator resistance 96 RF900R

I am wondering what the resistance is supposed to be on the signal/pulse generator on my 96 RF900R??? I am getting 0.00 which i assume is no resistance....Would this cause the bike to not run? it is sparking but im thinking maybe it could be sparking at the wrong time. also does anyone know the way the exhaust is supposed to be setup on this bike? mine is setup with dual mufflers, 1 coming off the left 2 ports of the head and then the other off the other 2, im thinking this is not right and hoping i dont have a valve problem i haven't found a compression tester to fit so i cant check compression.

If it's sparking then the pickups are probably okay.

Has it ever run right? What did you change just before it quit running?
