![]() i dont have a manual....i talked to a tech at the motorcycle shop here is all the clue i had to testing it, im not sure how knowledgable he was.

![]() I had a bike that ran like you describe. After endless peripheral testing and parts replacement I finally bought a compression tester. The cylinders tested great when the bike was cold, but as soon as it warmed up the #2 cylinder compression dropped by about 1/2. It turned out the compression ring on that cylinder was frozen, so as the cylinder warmed up and expanded, the compression went away. If you've done air, fuel, and ignition, you're left with mechanical. That basically includes compression: rings, valves, valve adjustment.
