Default 2002 Suzuki Bandit 600 help needed

Ive got a 2002 suzuki bandit gsf600s and I recently bought forks from a salvage yard to fix it. They sent me the forks for a 2002 gsx 600f katana. I know that they are both 41mm forks but when I tighten the front axle so that the wheel is secure, there isn't enough room to attach the brake calipers. Are these forks even compatible??

"Are these forks even compatible??"

Maybe you should have thought of that before buying them? Just a thought. Check this site:

Maximum-Suzuki.com

They would have the answer if anybody does.

Robert, you ignorant fu<k: how dare you wake Longride up with a stupid question like that? He's very busy plotting the overthrow of the US Government, and cannot be disturbed.

Take your question down the hall to the Gixxer forum and bother them.

Are you certain you're not missing a spacer?

Which wheel assembly are you attempting to bolt-up to the forks?

Have you pushed the brake pads back into the caliper totry and make them fit? Also just match the part numbers between the two models and if they match they are the same.
