Default SV1000S available at your dealer!!!

Wanna SV1000S? go to your dealer near by and ask for Honda Super Hawk/VTR1000F.

Looks like Japan Inc. is trying to avoide competition in the small & tight market.

No new Hawk GT cuz there's SV650

No new SV1000 cuz there's Super Hawk

(oh, they screwed up big time with TL1000S)

No TDM is U.S. then bring on the V-Strom...

Default Lost is right....

Please enlighten me, in your infinite wisdom, as to how a Honda could ever be a Suzuki ? The TDM was here for two years but no one bought them. And how is it that Suzuki "screwed up big time" with the TLS ? IMO they seem to be a pretty popular bike for something that is screwed up. You don't exactly see dealers covering the floor with them cause they don't have any left.

Default TL1000S

If bike doesn't handle without a steering dumper then there's something wrong with it. This is Honda's philosophy in engineering. TL1000S doesn't handle without a recalled steering dumper, there's something major wrong with it.

The stripes on the tank I can deal with. My girlfriend already knows how much I can't stand the eyebrows! She really appreciated: "Ick." Maybe I could lose the front mask altogether and mount a Monster headlight or the like...

So, doesn't the Tiger already have the new 955i motor? Is it expecting to get a NEWER one? Why would you say the Triumph would handle better than the Suzuki?

Default '02 Tiger

The '01 Tiger Tiger has detuned version of the '01 Daytona (128 hp in the Dayto and 104 hp in the Tiger). The NEW engine, the one in the '02 Daytona is good for 148 hp and I was guessing the '02 Tiger would get a detuned version of this engine just like the '02 Sprints and '02 Speed Triple (118 hp), but I just looked at a press release from Triumph and they decided to keep the 104 hp engine in the Tiger. Don't ask me why.

Regarding handling: the Triumphs may not be much at a racetrack but they handle marvelously on real roads and streets.

I don't think anybody in it's right mind would want to play in the dirt with Strom or the Tiger, they both are WAY heavy, but they look like "cool" sport tourers/commuters.

Wow, I guess that's why both the Ducati 996 and Suzuki's GSXR's come with steering dampers cause there's something wrong with them. Imagine that !! Those bikes haven't done anything in AMA or WSB for the last few years because of those darn dampers.
