Get a "Baja Designs" lighting kit, with turn signals, stuff the exhaust can with steel wool to quiet it down, pirate a charcoal canister from a street bike, run your gastank overflow lines to it, get an appoinment with your local State Troopers to inspect the bike, and there you go, you'll get a plate. At least that's how it works here in Kalipornia.

Ummmm... the 2002 Suzuki DR200E was originally sold as a dual-purpose streetbike. All you need to do is put the street components on it and get it inspected.

A DRZ is a dirt-only varian of the DRS, so if the rubes at the DMV don't notice the vehicle ID prefix he should be able to get a plate for it. I know you can get one in Arizona like that, or Nevada. Or Alaska where nobody cares anyway because they're hopped up on coffee.
