Fastest on Day 1: Kenny Roberts Jr. I never should have upgraded to live coverage on MotoGP. Must go out and do "stuff".

Alrighty then ~ following Roberts: Hayden, Pedrosa, Melandri, Vermeulen (Hopkins team mate),.....Edwards 6th, Hopkins 10th, Rossi 11th, this after two practice sessions.
My top five: Rossi, Hayden, Roberts, Melandri, Edwards (not neccessarily in that order, just all in the top five). Suzuki's Bridgestones won't go the distance. Pedrosa and Stoner over their heads for this track, either one could bail off in the heat of the race. My bet would be on Pedrosa this time! Rossi is not overated, he is in the Roberts Sr., Schwantz, Doohan, Lawson, Sheene, Hailwood class, in other words ledgendary! Nicky on the other hand is underated, at least by the euro-press! |

I was disappointed to hear Kenny Roberts take on the track, still bumpy, at least it's close to home he said. That's sad.....
