Hello everyone,
I am brand new to motorcycle riding. I just got a 1980 Suzuki GS450 a few months ago and its my first bike ever!!!! It runs ok but needs some tlc I am very much interested in getting it restored with original parts and accessories but i have no idea where to start looking? Does anyone know of any great sites out there for older suzuki's? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks everyone in advance. By the way in the short time I have been riding I am already so addicted to it and want to drive it everywhere lol |

If you haven't asked at a Zuki dealer, do just for grins. SOME stock parts might still be available.......might. It is not likely, however, that it will ever be worth much as a "collectors item" so my advice is to just ride it and do whatever is necessary to keep it in good mechanical conditon and free of rust and obvious damage........and trade or sell it in a couple of years before it starts to give you trouble. Good starter bike......as long as it runs good. How old are the tires ?? Hoses.......brakes.......brake fluid ??
