This is certainly bad news for Suzuki, as well as those (seems to be quite a few here) who are considering the SV1000 as their next bike.

I wonder if this applies to all SV1000s or only US market. If world-wide, this is a huge business loss for Suzuki, as I expect it would have been a much bigger seller in Europe than here.

Yeah that story makes sense. Y'know those SV naked headlights must be a special order thing. They're so radical that they had to be special ordered. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Because i was interested in the naked SV1000 I wanted to see if I could verify this rumor. I called three Suzuki dealerships in the Atlanta area and was told by all of them that they hadn't been informed of any delay at this time. I hope it's not true. I'll be pissed off if it is.

Kinda make you wonder if the original dealer here is not just blowin' smoke to cover the fact that he screwed up and didn't order any unfaired models (or maybe the faired ones have a better profit margin).

Part of the reason I was considering the unfaired SV1000 was the fact that it is not 'sexy'. After having my last bike stolen, I don't want to ever experience that again. I'm not waiting until July or later, so I think I'll just get an FZ1 or ZRX. Too bad for Suzuki.
