Roberts begged Suzuki for a competitive bike last year. He got the 4stroke now, which has potential, but it's almost a guarantee that the XRE0 will not be in top form until well into the season, after hopes for a title shot are lost. That's 2 years off of Roberts racing life riding non-competitive machinery. I would have thought they'd upgrade the RGV this year and phase in the XRE0, allowing Roberts a chance for the title

Well, considering that KR JR rode an uncompetitive bike for his dad for a long time, it is really just more of the same for him. I wonder how he would have done if he had been riding for Honda all this time.
