Ah, the end of another era. Wonder what our grandkid's kids will be riding? It sure won't be a two stroke. These things were bulletproof. I had a '59 Lambtretta 150 that I bought for $5.00 at a garage sale, the wrist pin was tapered down, worn out, and the piston moved up and down on the con rod about 1/4 inch. I rode that scooter for a year, and sold it to a buddy who rode it for another couple years, it never blew up (jut made a lot of racket). Internals made out of diamonds.
