Tor and banned Kook would not see eye to eye on this, huh?
Tor- nice read. Can't wait until next WSBK season.

This is a neat bike, although I have to wonder if the trade-off of a compact V75 versus the inherently balanced V90 is a good one for anywhere other than the track.

Setting that aside, it may be a bit early to be using words like: "iconic" and "historic." Let's get a few thousand on the streets for a while first...unless you're writing ad copy for Indian Motorcycles.

Be nice Ken. "Historic" and "good" aren't synonymous. For example the Edsel, New Coke and Windows Millenium are all "historic". One could call the Edsel "iconic" too.

Point taken. Interestingly, "iconic" literally means a presentation of the real thing. So I guess the question is: 1098R or 1098S?

I meticulously examined the RC8 at Indy, what a work of art, just wished I could have rode it. Seems from the article J.Mcwilliams never even had to adjust the steering dampner throughout the whole time he tested the bike. That says alot about the handling of the bike.
