Default Triumph take a gaint leap sideways

Hmmm, let's compare specs with the original Bonneville, circa 1967. Here day bee:

1967 Triumph Bonneville T-120:
Engine Four-stroke Parallel-twin
Power 46 bhp @ 6,500 rpm (T120)
Transmission 4-speed
Weight 395 lb

New bike:

2007 Triumph Bonneville
Parallel twin
DOHC 8 Valve
Power 54 HP @ ?
Transmission 5 speed
Weight: 497 lbs.

Seems they picked up 100 lbs in 40 or so years, with only an 8 hp increase in power. I'll take the original, thank you...

Good use of facts and data. Sorry couldn't help it... Who said they were studying to be the next GMP?

Great juxtaposition.

Why their heads on a pike of course. If I thought it would do any good.
