NOT "dead" - merely "Doomed". They'll be "Dead" when Ducati (and Harley, and anyone ELSE that makes V-Twins) realize their mistake in producing "Doomed" V-Twin Motorcycles, and stop doing-so in favour of the uber-moderne V-Four/Five engines.

...if it were 20 years ago, Ducati would break all previous records for time spent waiting for replacement parts to arrive. And I hope that old bag who worked the parts desk at Cosmopolitan motors is buried with all the woodruff keys I ordererd over the years and never got. Does Ducati still use those to hold everything everwhere in the motor, you know, places you wouldn't expect like the clutch basket, or the handlebars?
