I don't like the title of this series "It Ain't the Tool". It seems to me that the whole point of the article is that is IS indeed the tool. Just not the expected tool.

That's why I use to like racing my Yammie DT2 Enduro in vintage MX races...use to pi$$ off all those Husky & Maico riders when I'd beep the horn or flash the high beams when I'd pass them in a tricky (read that slow) section. Of couse they'd pass me right back on a straight-a-way, but it fun to be totally out-classed and still place in the top five. Enduros Forever!

Very good read but until the attitude in the USA "bikes as toys" changes it won't register with the average rider. Oh well maybe gas prices will someday change that.
