Looks to be an interesting series. I can hear the displacement nazis whining already.

It is an interesting series and yes they are whiners. Funny thing is that the inline 600s are STILL faster than the twins and triples. Except for that stupid Buell 1125 weight rule (since corrected) it's been pretty fun watching the "weird" machines fight against the inlines.

I dunno. Without that weight rule I think the buell would have still been hauling tail at the front. With the change you hardly hear the mention of the buell's. Would be fun to watch a buell vs suzuki match especially since cardenas is riding so well.

The last race I watched the Buell was dicing it up with the 600's just like you'd expect: the 600's get them in the corners, and the Bools break past them on the straights. Good stuff.

I like the Duke's Mini Cooper graphics. Mini must be a sponsor.

If'n one were to WANT to buy an 1125R, now is the time: Local HD/Buell is offering new '08-MY's on Closeout for $8999 vs sticker of $11,999.

Are they running stock "bodywork" or will they have a proper fairing?

Maybe they could sell them if they put a REAL motor in the thing. I bet the ones with the crappy motor are selling better than this one. Where are all the blowhards that wanted this bike so badly?

You had to say that. There's an HD/Buell shop less than a mile from my house. And a new BMW/Triumph/Husky dealer is less than a mile away also. If I stand in the right place the force of wanting a Tiger and a Ulysses in my garage and having to choose might cause the Earth to spin out or orbit. If a Ducati dealer opens anywhere near here I'll be completely screwed.
