Be it SBK or Dakar the Big4 get what they want.

KTM: the marketing geniuses who wouldn't give Ewan McGregor and Charley Bloor a motorcycle.

Well, isn't that typical. Punish the winners.

Well, BMW is pretty good at making their bikes look wonderful.

I wouldn't give those guys bikes, either. They can afford to buy them, fer chissakes!

How many racer open class off-road bikes do the Big4 build? Zero. Money talks and just like Kwacker used it's pull to get SBK rules changed MID SEASON to hurt the Buell's chances the Big4 have put all their eggs into the 450cc class. If you can't win honestly just use politics.

Thx to the Big4 off-road racing is being limited to the 250cc class. Er... well their MXers are nominally 450s but 450s are really just 250 two strokes hobbled by engines that break.
