Looks like you can really eat it big on that thing. I mean jeez, I can see something configured like that with about eight horsepower, but a five hundred cee cee 40 horse scooter? Carnage! Just dip me in a big vat of Hydrogen Peroxide and tape me up like a mummy.

Once I ate it really big on my Valmobile, ruined a nice pair of chinos. Those little wheels made the handling kind of nervous at high speeds, you know, 35-40 mph.

Google "Valmobile". Yes, indeed. Now that's a scooter.

Is that a pistol on the Dee-Luxe Model? Wow, an interesting marketing approach.

It has to be said: people associate scooters with girls and gays. It was hard enough for us to accept the idea that 40' 8mpg Ford Excretions may not be a good soccer-Mom vehicle choice. Now we're supposed to go hang out at the local scooter store and kick the tires on an off-white Modmobile?

Maybe when gas hits $8 a gallon.
