Interesting. How much does it cost? How often are the courses held? It appears from the article that the course runs 2 days, is that right? How much time was on the track versus classroom or other activities? Roughly, 30%?

I checked it out - $2000 to use their bikes, plus an additional $1000 check/cash/paypal deposit forfeited if you crash (plus you're responsible for damages over the deposit). $1800 if you use your bike, your bike MUST be a Yamaha (FZ1/6 R1/6) to use it. They also rent helmets, leathers, etc. (plus a deposit).

Long list of "celebrity instructors" though, with at least one showing-up at each session.

Cool

Our Yamaha Rep got me in this class with a 1000.00 deposit and would get it back as long as I didnt wad the bike up. Only problem was he told me 2days before the class. All I had to do was get the grand and get their? Couldnt make it, nor did I have the grand to let them hold.

Next thing you know, he'll have his own line of breakfast-sausages and star in a crappy "C" movie wielding a 4-barrel 10-gauge shotgun........
