One thing that should be added to the project bike is a centerstand.

First step, upgrade those wimpy forks and shock with KX hardware. Shouldn't be too hard to find a used set-up.
It's been done before, and transforms the bike, although in a direction you may not want to go.

The best thing to do is to jack up the license plate and install a Wee Strom under it

Heres what I did to my '00
Oversized front rotor, galfer green pads and steel braided line. Progressive fork springs K&N air filter, drilled out airbox Dynajet kit supertrap IDS II gel grips bark busters Kawasaki tail bag street tires on the stock hoops Moved the license plate up changed headlight to halogen Last edited by 12er : 12-05-2008 at 02:09 PM.
