I first started riding motorcycles in the spring of 2010. I rode mostly in the city so in the fall of 2010, I decided to go on a group ride. Long story short, I crashed and had to decide what to do next.
Should I fix it or move on? I didn't have money for a new one. So, having grown up as a Mennonite, I decided to use a bit of my ingenuity and hard work ethic to fix the bike. I have documented the whole journey in this guest blog post I wrote for a Motorcycle Blog. Let me know what you think. Fixing a motorcycle on a budget | Lilyboys Motorcycle Blog |

Glad you learned something from this. Ride your own ride and stay within your comfort zone. I'm a 20 year rider and still learning.
