My Ride Report…
I rode round trip from my hometown of Red Bluff, CA, to Sacramento, to Fresno, and to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

This ride was 781 miles. I left after work and rode down to Stockton for the night (178 miles). Then I finished the ride the next day (603 miles). I usually don't like riding the slab, but in this case I had limited time and wanted to be at the visitor center when it opened to plan my day. I spent most of the day visiting the parks and rode home afterward.

Hey, you live in Red Bluff? You don't know Dale Pearson by chance, or his son Gene? Both HD riders, Gene lives in a double wide up off Baker road in the boondocks. Dale's got about 20 acres up off Darby lane & a small lake. Nice place.

Red Bluff is small, but it isn't that small. Even if it is, I can't remember everybody's name.

Nice pics, Redwoods and Sequoias always make me think of the redwood chairs and chaise-lounger with the metal-net-and-springs "suspension" that my Dad had when I was a kid; the ones with the funky flower-print cushions that crinkled when you moved-around on them, and always smelled of mildew because you forgot and left 'em out in the rain overnight.

Ah, I can smell that mildew now.................
