My late wife and I lived in south Lake Tahoe for quite some time and scoured that area many times, so your mention of Gabbs, Berlin, (we camped at Ichthyosaur Park), and all of Death Valley brought back more sweet memories than you can possibly imagine. Thank you! The fact that I could be the instrument that brings back your fondest and almost lost memories makes me very happy I wrote it.

I love camping at Icthyosaur! Debbie and I and our chocolate lab, Chase camped there at the end of the season last year. We were alone in the campground. It got a little chilly at night but it was awesome. I will be making it back again this year. It is one of those best keep secret places or something.
