Sylvester Stallone, the film's writer and producer, made the decision to approach Arai about the helmets. "I prefer Arai helmets," said Stallone from a booth at a delicatessen in Bensonhurst, New Jersey. "They come in size XXXXXL, so they are among the few that fit my immensely swollen, movie-star head."
