It was Prince Georges county police not DC police. The DC police engage in high speed pursuits withing the city limits, and they run over pedestrians.

"Helicopters and additional units to "radio ahead" to are often non-existent or not available (Even if they are, an effective road block for a bike is hard to come by so quickly. Stop sticks included.). They also cost money. Same problem as above."

So let them go... it's JUST speeding. It's not hurting anyone, it might be increasing the risk of hurting someone but it's not inherently hurting anyone.

I wish people would look at speeding for what it is... not inherently harmful.

blame the ******* that ran , not the cops

I'm sick of hearing the whiners squeeking about the police and trying to blame them for this tragedy.

anyone who runs from the law should get twenty years minimum

Ok, so with your logic, if a guy selling dope runs into a crowded mall and the cops kill 5-6 bystanders gunning him down, that's all the dealer's fault. Better hope you're not buying school clothes with your kids that day.

Telling cops not to endanger the public over non lethal crimes is nothing new.
