It's a little irritating that the author hung the article on the Rolling Thunder hook but what can you expect these days. Oh, almost forgot, 39.6 mph avg. speed......impressive.

Bayliss, Haga, Corser, I can live with that. 8th place I'm lovin it. This drinking thing that's workin' out pretty good too. I met up with my brother yesterday while we planned our trip to a national cemetery to visit my dad. Got held up by a 6 bazillion person group ride, HD's. Not a single DOD sticker on one of em.....

Yeah...I refuse to participate in any more threads hijacked by KPAUL. yesterday I wnt out with my wife..her on her Buell Blast,me on the geezer glide. It was kinda boring following her at 60 mph but it was nice to get out together and just cruise. Today I took my 9 year old grandson to a "fun track" that has opened about 45 min from my house. Its kinda a dumbed down MX course....no whoops or doubles or off cambers but a little over a mile long with nice tabletops and some neat bowl turns. perfect for my old XR200.Kinda hot and dusty but we had a great time. Tomorrow no riding ...we're having a picnic at my place....I'll be pulling kids on tubes with my boat all day. i prefer to live life rather than talk about it and denigrate other people's lifestyles and life choices. have a nice Memorial day .

My Arai saved me from death in the last big wreck. Of course the rest of me got thrashed.

But maybe someday, with the advances of modern medicine, they can sew my head on a new body. Or better yet, sew my head on a new Buell.

Wow, a bio-mechanical being. I'll be back...

"So why do so many riders opt for less safety? "

Because riding a motorcycle is automatically opting for less safety. If you want safety, drive a five-star crash rated vehicle with side air bags, buckle your little belt, stay below the speed limit, and wear your helmet while doing it. Better yet, stay home, be safer, and save gas all at the same time. This message is brought to you by those that could care less. Have a nice day!

But did you dare to see more? That is the question of the day.
