Where I was during the F&F craze (Southern Cal), what ended up happening was lots of local legislation that elevated street racing beyond even drunk driving in terms of crime and punishment.

That trickled down to suspected street racing.

That trickled to cars that look like they could street race.

That trickled down to me getting pulled over all the time in my Mustang convertible by cops with yardsticks, tint meters, sound meters, and intimate knowledge of CAB.

Is that really where we want to go?

I just don't want the public to know the truth. Let's whisper it amongst ourselves: "I sometimes use my bike to its full potential, even against the law. If my bike was a weak-ass POS I probably wouldn't do it as much."

So in this theoretical situation, as a cop and a sportbike rider, what would you be doing on said sportbike for entertainment?

Yep. What's the point of a Z1000 if you rode it like a scooter?

Lawmakers drive SUVs. Think they are going to limit themselves?

It's the tyranny of the majority.

Sorry, no. If one decides to do high speed wheelies in a 25 they bear full responsibility for their actions.

Funny how some think the laws only apply to others.
