It would be nice to have an extra 25hp and at least 20 more ft/lb of torque. You know it's in there hidding. I couldn't imagine the amount of aftermarket cash to find it.

I wish I could count the 750s, then we would be on #4.

Easy to see why it's so high in Seattle. Some oil company magnate's son rides a Duck and subscribes to MO. He showed his dad the posts on MO that prove that the idiots who live in Seattle WELCOME higher gas prices.

Be careful what you ask for. You might get it.

Is it "even a dumbass it right twice a year?" I get those cute little things wrong all the time.

$3.50/gal still gets your attention. I mean, not at 50 miles a week but it's still a chunk of change.

The latest in the Peoples Republic of Washington is to initiate a toll on all bridges to pay for the Tacoma Narrows bridge. This includes the I-90 floating bridge over Lake Washington.

Interstate freeways as you may recall are Federally funded as opposed to State Highways like SR520 floating bridge and SR16 over the two Narrows bridges which are State funded.

Not to sure how the Feds are going to feel about Washington State taking a scoop of their pie........

Dog park liberal that I am, I can NOT for the life of me understand who in their right mind would vote for that idiocy.

Yeah, but it's still a bargain. I mean, people will gladly fork over $3.50 for a cup of coffee, then complain about the same $3.50 getting them a 30-mile round-trip commute.

The difference between $1.50/gallon and $3.00/gallon for my commute is about the equivalent of a snack cake per day. Not even Hostess. I'm talking Little Debbie.

The only good thing about growing up in the '70s is that I appreciate how good we have it now. I'm mystified how anybody my age can complain. We're living in a Golden Age.

I feel the same. I love the look I get when I tell people I'll give them 3 bucks to walk 25 miles.
