$720k?!? Good lord, that's a lot of money!
How 'bout I give you $15, and you catapult me into the side of a mountain. |

It looks a lot like a badly done Oscar Meyer Weiner Weeble toy- and I'm sure it handles like one as well.
For that amount of $$ I'd rather own five or six *real* motorcycles and a top end of a mere 165 or so. (or buy a new Corvette, -or maybe a Mercedes, or a nice new RV, or a down payment on choice vacation property.) ...the only point being you can do a lot better with your cash than waste it on that ugly thing. Anyway- Good luck turning that pig in the twisties. I wonder what happens to the "rider" on the off chance you tip it over? how do you exit gracefully? (-or do you even get out??) PS: -don't forget the fire extinguisher...! |

1994 is the year for that bike. Have no fear, deals on GTS 1000s will be coming around again-- just like the housing market.
In 1991, folks were buying their mortgages from the bank for .60 on the dollar. If you're locked in at 6%, and prevailing rates are 14%, you should be able to buy your mortgage from the bank for around .40 on the dollar. Just something to keep a lookout for. |

Wasn't it Corbin that made some fugly three-wheeler thing that some dude crashed (lightly)? It seems I 'member that he was uninjured, but unable to get out of the vehicle for several hours because it was laying on the hatch.

Peraves, a Swiss company, has been making very successful, very high performance enclosed motorcycles for years. They are pricey, but their handling and performance is legendary.
You've go to think of it as a different vehicle altogether. Not a car, not a trike, not exactly a typical motorcycle. I want one. |

Isn't there a formula for how much horsepower you need to go X miles per hour, even if the aerodynamics are near perfect? I'm guessing somewhere north of 200 hp. Inside that bubble. With you. And a '50 gallon trunk".
