Wow, that's awesome. Soo, all I have to do is spped in florida and the popo can grab my bike and keep it, claiming that I was "evading." Sounds like a load of bullsh*t to me.

What a classic tactic, seize property then drop the charges, phucking pigs.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish between the police and the criminals. I'll bet a lot of those bikes end up in cop's garages.

Hmm.. i wonder how hard it would be to counterfeit a tag and throw it over your legit tag while your on the highway. No sense playing by the rules if the enforcers aren't.
On a more serious note though. That nonsense is going to seriously hurt the credibility of law enforcement. |

If killing innocent people in no-knock raids doesn't, I don't see why this would. Besides, the precedent was set with property seizure in the "War on Drugs." Your maid left a roach on your yacht? Sorry, sucker. Our SWAT boys need some new GI Joe "tactical" toys...

You left the "only report part of the property and take the rest home" part.

Sounds like the Florida police have become little better than a well armed, well coordinated gang.
