I thought the Japanese hated that Harley tough-guy crap? I guess you will pretty much sell out to anything to make a few bucks. I opened my Motorcyclist magazine and lo and behold there is a Yamaha, I mean Star (cough cough) ad that features a tough guy in black leather calling on everyone to be an independent thinker and buy a Yamaha, I mean Star. Pretty funny stuff, if you remember 1982 and the Japanese, Honda and Yamaha in particular, calling the V-Twin "an inferior design". How about that air cooled pushrod V-Twin they make with the belt drive. Wonder how they ever thought that up? Why don't they make a fake Fender Strat while they are at it. Wait! They already did!

Default nothing to see here... move along

It's just a self-propelled boat anchor no matter whose model they started with. The only riding it will ever get is inside exhibit halls.

Default Doesn't matter...

...how inferior it is: if somebody wants to buy a piece of crap, some-one else will sell it to them (and don't forget to include a tidy mark up).

Toyota is going to be in NeckCar next year.

I think they'll be going around the circle the other direction though.

well it's like anything really you can't appreciate how tough a thing is til you try it yourself. building it is the point obviously. everybody is aware a honda 750 is better transportation. i think.

No doubt beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this bike is much more art than transportation. I just do not favor form over function when it comes to bikes. Just my opinion.

A whopping ONE custom bike with a metric engine.

Oh wait, Denny Berg built a chopper with a Vulcan 2000 engine in it.

So that's a whopping TWO non-Harley-engined customs!

Run for your lives!

Yup had the Jammer Products catalog. They had a parts list for a springer, I think it was in 1981, give or take a year or two. Ended up with the 78 750 instead. What could have been......
