"Yes if driven with in(sic)[sic] the traffic rules. " "say a branch in the road. In that case you better go slower than the law allows to stay within your skillset [sic]". What kind of skill set do you have? sportbike rider wannabe who never rides any real roads? V-max rider wash out? |

![]() Cool Robert.. Seems like that Motorcycle lawyer that advertises on Speed TV on Tuesdays could help. This is the type of thing the AMA should look into. I am going to email them with it..

![]() My friend was hit. The driver that hit him stopped and got out of his truck to look at him; there was a witness that gave a sworn statement and the license number of the truck and a matching physical description of the driver; paint from the car was matched to the paint on the bike and vice versa. Conclusion? Insurance carrier denied the claim. Said the guy laid the bike down due to his wrecklessness. I guess that was just another frivlous lawsuit. My friend will be on wheels for the rest of his life and has been fighting with the insurnce companies for 6 years. Appeal after appeal by the insurance company. His company will not pay up nor will the guilty guy's company. He has lost everything.
When the insurance companies own the legislators what do you expect. |

The kind that hasn't been tossed on my ass by a simple branch on the road. How about you??

![]() The nutcase's wheels are locked again. At this rate it'll take him 500 years to equal the actual riding experience of any GPTB. But he's like the kid from high school who read a magazine article on surfing once and became the world's greatest expert on it the next day. That's his entire experience.... reading magazines. Wait a second, even the data from some magazines take second place to his "expert" opinions which are based on data from some other magazines... maybe... who knows?
Looks like his meds need to be adjusted again. Or is it just the stress of the upcoming election? That usually pushes him around the bend too.

![]() Damage appears consistent with a rear impact to me, too. Unfortunately, law enforcement tends to take a "he's young and on a bike, so he probably caused it and probably deserved it" kind of attitude about bikers, worse if they are younger. Additionally, I'd agree with those who note that law enforcement is not well trained in the assessment of motorcycle crashes, and would add that insurance companies are fairly bad at it, too.

![]() I don't know what state you're in but your friend should contact the state insurance commissioner's office and get the ball rolling on a complaint.
In some states the commish is more powerful than others. |
