you can't avoid every accident, even with training and experience. that's why you should always wear a full face helmet. i'm not saying it ought to be the law, I'm saying you're stupid if you don't. BTW what happened to common civility on this board? aren't we all bikers? Are some of you 14? grow up, I know your mother taught you how to act right.

I am sure a full face helmet would have lessened the blunt trauma to his face. However, in the absence of his jaw and facial bones absorbing the impact, said impact could have been absorbed by his neck causing spinal injuries.
Since (I believe) nobody on this board is a forensic pathologist, nor has detail on the dynamics of the accident, it is not possible to speculate with any degree of accuracy what the effect of a full-face or beanie would have had on BenÂ’s injuries. The fact is, we simply do not know. PS. A retard is somebody that fails to spell a simple word like helme[t] correctly Â… |
