![]() I'm an old guy with way too much perspective. The high interest rates of the Carter/Reagan years were brought on by trying to fight a war and provide vast new programs without raising taxes. It took someone with the sense to not increase spending when times were good, and get the deficit under control, to bring interest rates down to the historically almost unprecedent lows of recent years. They are now on their way back up, and there ain't a thing to stop them. Bush has borrowe more money THAN ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINED. The bill is going to come due, and it's going to come soon.

![]() We have a little something here called the Alternative Minimum Tax. It was designed to ensnare the rich "who aren't paying their fare share" but bracket creep is now costing middle class folks a bundle.
Punish the rich is nice populist rhetoric but they're aren't enough of them to pay the freight so the middle class get hammered. |

![]() I'm still trying to figure out what the feckin' heck he's on about. Every once in awhile I get bored and actually read some of his drivel. Assuming for an instant that we GPTB'ers dress a certain way it's purely for functional reasons. I think I can say with some degree of truth that anytime me or seruzawa, buz, longride, bmw-van, mscruddy and whoever else you've lumped in don't wear leather jackets and boots because we want to look like "bikers", we wear them beacause it's either cold or for protection...
Like seruzawa say's, what would you know about anybody that rides a bike... |

![]() Everybody seems to be pissing themselves at how bad life is treating them compared to the lot of their parents. Strange, I ride without a helmet and am earning a good living.
To all you loser faggots out here, take your helmets off, taker a breathe of fresh air, and start earning a living like any normal decent human being. |

![]() No, a Boxter is cheaper.
For 70 grand you can get a 911 Carrera. Don't mean to sound rude, but what "entry level" truck is 50 grand? The f-150/250/350 start between 20 & 28 grand and Dodge and GM are about the same. |
