"Rising interest rates is what is killing housing"

Your historical perspective extends to the Saturday before last.

The fact is that a dollar buys a HELL of a lot more than it used to. Better health, better food, better goods, safer and more powerful cars, awesome bikes... our grandparents could only DREAM of the things we enjoy working at the same kind of job for the same number of hours. But the Cassandras will cherry-pick their data to make it look like we're doing worse.

You and JB have been saying this for five years.

I grew up in the '70s. I know what tough is. Double-digit inflation, double-digit unemployment, double-digit interest rates. People who complain about the economy today are spoiled pussies. And people who say "rising interest rates" (rising from historic LOWS) are "killing housing" (still hot-tish after historic HIGHS) are the worst kind of no-perspective, think-for-the-moment, disingenuous, whiny turds.

Ahhh... there's no point. Continue to subscribe to your oppressive and evil Keynesian beliefs.

Reminds me of an old pitcher that showed up every spring, ready to put in another season. Every year, people whispered that he was washed up, and he kept proving them wrong. When someone pointed that out to him, he just nodded and said "And one of these years, they'll be right."
