84 in a 65 2 weeks ago. Worst part was I had just moved over to let the 2 90+ drivers behind me pass and presto, I'm the first thing the CHP see's entering the freeway. My $196 better fill a few pot holes!!!

I try to pick my spots. I keep the speed down most of the time, but who can resist nailing it once in a while?

As a practicing criminal defense attorney, I'll weigh in with my opinion:

That's the dumbest defense I've ever heard. And I've heard some dumb ones. I've even seen some of them work. But that's just stupid. That doesn't pass what the "laugh test." (The Laugh Test: go tell some one unfamiliar with your case your theory of defense. If they laugh openly, don't use that defense.)

Either you have a valid it-wasn't-me defense, or you should take the best plea offer you can get. Once the jury hears "150 mph" they just don't care if you saw the cop or not.

You are right. NOBODY can resist! If you have a motorcycle, you speed every now and then. I should have known better too because I am not as familiar with the road I got busted on. I am familiar with the road I commute on and know what all the unmarked pOlice cars are. There's a Camaro and Mustang with V-8s, a Ford F-150, and believe it or not, a late model Mercury Cougar! Sneaky, sneaky.

Wow, that was an expert-level non-sequitor flamey troll attempt. Even for you, kpaul. I'm impressed.

Ech...unlucky guy....i guess you shouldn't do such things in USA.Probably no chance for real escape.

Or you should remove license plate then...but still there will be problems later.Just ride slowly then....

Unfortuntely ticketing the result does not address the root cause, the speeding, and the one extra degree of seperation is sufficient to be problematic. Of course what's the root cause of speeding.....
