Actually, and I am completely serious about this, you are probably one of the few motobros I know who is not full of poopie, including most of the rest of us at MO and about every racer of my acquaintance. Being the straightest shooter I know automatically disqualifies you from the BS trophy cup. Yup, when it's time for adult supervision at the old motorcycle orchard it's a short list that pretty much stops with you and Buz.

Now genteel manners ......., that's another issue.

No way dude, it is much more fullfilling to show up at Monte Cristo in brown Carhartt overalls on the Fizzer.

Back when I was a guide I used to show up every Sunday morning at a popular local bouldering area where I had all of the routes ruthlessly wired to the point where I could do them in the middle of the night, in a downpour, with a hand tied behind my back. I'd be dressed in Eastern KY Sunday going to town duds: white shirt, ****ies denim overalls (with lots of Red Man stains), and a set of leather wing-tip shoes. There would usually be several dozen people from Cincinnatti or Lousiville struggling so hard to get up some of those climbs that they were about to produce their greenest tur*d. I'd watch them for a while and ask them if they were "rappelling" and they'd get mad because I was too stupid to waste time talking too. Then I'd start giving them advice about how to "get up them climbs" and when they finally got mad enough to say if it looks so easy why don't you try it I'd flash it.

The spirit is still willin but the flesh is weak so thank goodness for motorcycles.

And don't forget the $200/h prostitution bit either, which would make him a felon in the DC area if ever convicted.

Do you think they'd give one to MO? Maybe we should start thinking of some questions to ask.

The mind reels

"Dan Rather? Isn't he the gay porn guy that the White House gave a coveted press pass too?"

Hi, kpaul!

I must say I'm shocked - shocked! - that you didn't go away as promised.

"If you can become rich while having fun, you're way ahead of the rest of us and Im happy for you."

I've always loved how "Hey, he's making money" excuses the cheap, the tawdry, the venal, and just about anything else short of illegal.

"what part of his lifestyle can you possibly argue with. "

Well, there's...

"he dating porn stars."

"Uh hello! Is there supposed to be something "wrong" or "undesirable" about that? (membes of the clergy and retired nuns not withstanding)."

Wrong? No. Undesirable? Well, I'm not a clergyman or ex-nun, but I guess I'm hopelessly prudish and old-fashioned in finding the idea of dating someone who has had a few hundred men butter her face somewhat, well, undesirable.

I guess I'm uptight that way.
